Abstract

The efficacy of Authentic Leadership (AL) and its impact on Employee Engagement (EE) has received, and continue to receive significant attention in the literature, although AL is still at its infancy. Trust a manifestation of one's action play a role towards employee engagement. A good research uses a theory, theoretical framework or construct. However, despite a growing interest in the area of AL, EE and Trust not much exist in the area of theoretical framework. This paper provides a theoretical framework which can be used for future research to understand the relationship between AL and EE and the mediating role of trust between this relationship.
