Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to examine the impact of knowledge organization and employee prospects and the specifics objectives were to; to determine the influence between knowledge creation and employee prospect; to ascertain the effect of knowledge sharing on employee prospect and   establish the impact of knowledge application/utilization on employee prospects; Design/methodology/approach: A theoretical model concerning the connections between three facets of Knowledge organization ( knowledge creation, knowledge sharing and knowledge application) and employee prospects. Then data were collected through the use of secondary form of data collection from journals, bulletins and existing literature based on this data were subjected to analysis of Variance with the aid of SPSS 21.Findings entails that knowledge creation, sharing and application are significant to employee prospects in the banking sector. It was therefore concluded that mediating effect of human capital repository on the relationship between knowledge organization and employee prospects in the banking sector and recommended that Organizations need to involve employees in participating, contributing and share knowledge among employees. Management also should consider on adapting knowledge sharing in their organization because when employees share their knowledge and skills with others, it may contribute to the success and development of the organization.
