Abstract

This survey was conducted to examine the proper time management principles among Registrars of the University of Education, Winneba in Ghana. A descriptive survey design was used because respondents were made to react to predetermined responses from the survey instrument. A sample of 50 out 123 Registrars was selected randomly for this study. The results of the study indicated that Registrars had their own time management principles, which are comparable to best practices elsewhere. They also encountered a few challenges, including frequent interruptions from phone calls and visitors. Consequently, the use of secretary skills to filter phone calls and keeping of visitor's book were recommended for adoption and use.
