Abstract

The effect of Post COVID – 19 palliatives on the achievement of senior secondary school students in mathematics was studied. The sample comprised two groups- Secondary School Class Two (SSC2) students that were treated with palliatives and those that had their lesson in a conventional way. One hundred students (100) were taught mensuration and quadratic graphs amidst palliatives, while ninety-nine (99) had no palliative. The analysis of data revealed significant differences in the achievement of the students in favour of those that were given palliatives. This implies that students require palliatives and motivations to recover from the shock caused by the COVID – 19 pandemics.
