Abstract

This study aimed to demonstrate the extent to which the application of the principle of transparency contributes to reducing the phenomenon of administrative corruption and the importance of transparency in developing the work of the administration.

The study reached a set of results, including: the emergence of the principle of transparency as a result of a group of financial and administrative corruption cases that swept the world and the need to reduce them. Transparency also provides an environment conducive to administrative work, whether with regard to management or employees, as it clarifies for each of them the tasks assigned to them to achieve goals. Management is represented in providing services to individuals.

The study also recommends defining the newly emerging principle of transparency by holding conferences and courses to determine what transparency is and how its mechanisms work, which facilitates its correct application, as well as working on enacting laws that provide an enabling environment that guarantees the generalization of transparency standards, as the legislation of these laws gives transparency standards a binding force. It does not allow anyone to violate it in all organs and departments of public sector institutions.
