Abstract

The paper will find out and explain the Social Development and Village-Owned Enterprises during the COVID-19 Pandemic. The Village-Owned Enterprises (so-called BUMDes) have developed three types of business units, namely a land pawning, a sound system rental and a cattle breeding business unit. The research approach used is a qualitative method. This research was conducted using observation and interview techniques using a list of questions as a research instrument, and then the data were analyzed descriptively. The theories used are decision and development. The result shows that it has had a huge impact on the above-mentioned business during COVID-19, particularly on the community's economy, because many activities cannot be carried out during the pandemic, so many economies do not run smoothly. Eventually, this has an effect on social relations among the people, not only creating social distance but less contact between them.
