Abstract

A trifunctionalize Schiff base ligand (2z)–2–[(1,5–dimethyl-3-oxo-2-phenyl-2,3-dihydro-4-pyrazol-yl) imino]-1,2-dihydro-3H-indole-3-one and its Al(III) In(III) and Tl(I), complexes have been synthesized and characterized by physical methods and spectral studies. The geometry around the metals have been deduced based on solution studies and spectral information. The ligand and its complexes were also tested against different bacteria and fungi to determine their activities.
