Influence of AM Fungus and PGPRs on Growth of Ptercarpus marsupium Roxb. An Important Timber Tree

Abstract

Green house experiments were undertaken to investigate the effect of AM Fungus Scutellospora nigra with the PGPRs Bacillus coagulans, Aspergillus luchensis and  Aztobacter chroococcum singly and in combination. Examined  their influence on plant growth, biomass yield and N and P uptake of Pterocarpus marsupium Roxb. The results obtained showed, that the AM Fungus Scutellospora nigra   and the Bacillus coagulans, Aztobacter chroococcum with  Aspergillus luchensis for the best microbial consortion for inoculating Pterocarpus marsupium Roxb in the nursery.
