Appraisal of Issues/Challenges and Remedies on the Role of Trade Marks in Quality Control

Abstract

There is no doubt that trademarks have a role to play in quality control. It is little wonder that there are issues or challenges that the present work identified and discussed. It engaged in piracy and counterfeiting with unsatisfied market demands, the absence of functional agency, the problem of advertising and government regulations. The paper recommended, among others, the strengthening and standardization of quality regulation agencies, review of their laws and continuous sensitization.
