Security and Other Challenges to Tourism Development in Nigeria

Abstract

The expected development of the Nigeria tourism industry has been impeded by myriad of challenges principal among which is security arising from incessant attacks from   a dreaded presumed Islamic sect called Boko Haram on civilian and public institutions. This is however in addition to infrastructural and social factors. This paper examines some of this daunting problems and proffer some means resolving them.
