Optimizing the Collection of Zakat Funds Using Digital Technology in Indonesia

Abstract

The use of renewable technology in the era of revolution 4.0 is increasingly being carried out. Various industrial sectors including the financial industry must be able to adapt to these changes so as not to be left behind. The use of digital technology for zakat managers in the future can make a big contribution in collecting zakat funds. This research uses descriptive and verification methods by collecting primary data, namely interviews with 30zakat managers, before being analyzed the data is tested first by testing the validity and reliability, and data analysis using linear regression. Based on the research results, it turns out that the use of digital information technology has a significant effect on the optimization of zakat fund collection, and the use of technology also affects the quality of the zakat accounting information system. The results of this research contribution can provide solutions to zakat managers in optimizing the collection of zakat funds
